The Informant is a dark comedy by Steven soderbergh. Matt Damon plays an Ivy league Ph. d Mark Whitacre who works in a ADM company and is a highest ranking executive. He bring to the lime light of public about a scam by his own company to fix the price of food additives all over the world. He has secretl collect hours of videos and audios to backup his claims. He presents all his evidence to FBI. But as there are turn arounds and Whitacre is accused of defruading 9 million dollars from his company and he was accusd of secretly taping his colleagus during the work. Whitacre now develops a bipolar disease and starts behaving strangely. He is arrested and sentenced for more than his company executives he helped to nab. Ten years later the former FBI officer who was incharge of the price fixing case comes out in praise of Whitacre saying he should be considered as national hero. The film The Informant is a bigscreen adaptation of the book The Informant by Kurt Eichenwald, a former journalist of the New York Times. Scott Z. Burns rewrite the story for the movie version.

The major part of the movie was shot in illinois.Mark Damon worked hard for this role. Infact he gained 20 to 30 pounds to look more like whitacre.

They have given full hardwork to stick to the authentic sherleck holmes.Black wood is the villain played by Mark strong.It will be a treat to the sherlock holmes fans as this movie will feature Holmes as a action hero. So readi for some suspense kung fu from Holmes.

The movie Shutter Island features Teddy Daniel( Leonardo DiCaprio), Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain), Mark Ruffalo and Ben kingsley. The movie Shutter Island is a dramatic film to be directed by Martin Scorsese. This is the big screen adoptation of the novel by Dennis Lehane re written by Laeta Kalogridis. DiCaprio and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo)are US Marshalls Who are asigned to investigate the escape of a murderer achel Solando, who had committed multiple murders from Boston's Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital. Williams play as DiCaprio`s wife. Soon Teddy realize that the doctors treatment in the island rage from unethical and radical methods.As he gets a lead and approaches to the findings the hospital rfuses him the acces to documents of the missing patient. Suddenly a hurricane hits the isaland abd the island is cutt off from the mainland. The communication is cut off. In this chaos more dangerous psycho criminals escape in the confusion and this adds to the difficulty Daniel already faces to solve the case. As the confusion reaches its pinnacle its Daniel who is affected by this. His mind starts getting confused and starts doubt everything. His love life becomes affected. His memory starts fading.
