"Shorts" (2009) synopsis

Shorts is the story of 11 year old Toe Thompson, who lives in the suburb of Black falls. Here in Black falls all the house look alike and all the inhabitants work for BLACK BOX Unlimited Worldwide Industries. Mr. Black`s BLACK BOX is the only communication and all work device available here. Toe`s parents also are working in BLACK BOX Unlimited Worldwide Industries. Toe is a shy and was considered as the bully bag among kids is in search of some friends untl one day one rainbow colour rock falls from the sky during a storm and hits him in the head. Life is changed for Toe Thompson after that.That rock seems to be a wish granting rock.The rock is rotated in the village and everybodys wishes start becoming true and suddenly Black falls become a weird place with aliens and strange things including crocodile armies, space ships etc.The out of control wishes makes the suburb a nightmare.The problem gets really worse when the rock gets in the hands of grown ups. Now its up to Toe and his new friends to find a way to save his town from this mayhem. This magical fanasy movie is directed by Robert Rodriguez.
