"The Road" (2009) Synopsis
This movie is the bigscreen adaptation of the pulitzer winning novel of the same name by Cormac McCarthy. The story is set in unmentioned post apocalyptic event.An unnmaed catacalysm has ruined many of the cicvilizations and people in earth. Now a father  (Mortensen) and a son (Kodi Smit-McPhee) sets up a journey through the landscape of the ruins. They have to survive by anymeans possible. Together they are head for the coast for no reason. They pass dry lands where there is nothing left only the ashes.The climate is bone chilling cold. The snow falls in black colour, the winter seems endless. The sky is also black. Eventhough they are headed for the coast they do not know what awaits them there. One pistol with two bullets to defend themselves against the lawless bandits, rag clothes they wear and a cart of scavenged food is all they have. NOw they have to depend on each other and will power to survive and reach the coast. On their way to the coast they encounter other refugees, militants and canibals. They even finds a shelter with food and supplies but they continue their journey towards the coast rather than staying in the shelter. On the way they are robbed by a thief and lose their entire possesions . Taking the possesions back becomes a big challenge for the fathers humanity. Once they reach the coast they found nothing different from the world they left behind.The Father who was in the grief of the death of his wife earlier and with an illnes he was caryying from the begining dies. But the son is able to survive with the help of another refugee and he gets a new family. The film was shot in Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and Oregon.

Its future and people live in isolation in the comfort of their homes. Instead their replica social surrogates are outside controlled remotely.The surrogates are smart and look good than their original human and they donot get older. Now two FBI agents Greer and Peters (Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell) are about to get out after long years to investigate a murder of a college student who invented the surrogates.Some body out in the street is determined to kill all the surrogates and bring back the people to their normal lives.Bruce Willis uses his surrogates to solve the murder mystery but atlast he has to stepout to the world full of surrogates along with his friend. In the world of surrogates where there are no real people but people with masks. Who he will trust?  This movie is a bigscreen adaptation of the comic by Robert Venditti. The movie was shot entirely in US cities.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs  (2009) Synopsis
This comedy anmation movie by sony is due for release on september.This movie is based on the childrens book by Judi Barrett and Ron Barret.Anna Faris is lending her voice for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The movie is set in a land where the food is showered from the sky due to an invention by Flint Lockwood to eradicate world hunger. The story describes a place called  Chewandswallow. There rain is showered three times a day at breakfast, lunch and dinner.The inhabitants in this land includes Flint Lockwood, "a young inventor who dreams of creating something that will improve everyone's life." and Sam Sparks, "a weathergirl covering the phenomenon who hides her intelligence behind a perky exterior." Whatever Flint invents creates trouble in the end. First spray on shoes, then hair unbalder and a freaky monkey thought translator all of them ends up in trouble. Even without draw backs Flink continues his scientific journey and invents the machine to convert rain to food. As all hs inventions this works perfectly for the villagers but soon there is trouble with cyclones of food. But Sam is dreamed to become a weather reporter. Her life was normal till she reported the cheeserain by the machine invented by Flink. She becomes famous day by day as the reports of food rains from the sky increases. Untill one day she founds out Large meatballs are about to hit the village she must stop it by helping Flink usin her powers she was kept secret,.The director claims that this will be a parody to the movis twister, Armageddon and other disaster movies. As the village is hit with giant pancake cyclone schools are shut and the villagers try to survive meatball rains. There is also steve a monkey friend of Flink who helps him in stopping his own machine.
