Stretch Armstrong is in Universal movie
Remember stretch Armstrong , that well muscled blond male toy introduced by Kenner in 1976 with a stretchable limbs incredibely. You may think its weird but the weirdest thing is Universal studios is planning to make a movie on stretch Armstrong. And they have bagged a number of well known crew including Steve Oedekerk (Evan Almighty).
A Bit History on stretch Armstrong .
In 1976 Kenner introduced a new hero named stretch Armstrong and America welcomed the toy warmly. Boys bought the toys and tried the endurance of the stretching.The Limbs can be stretched and will come back to normal. This was due to the special liquid inside the toy. But as the children try to stretch more there were cracks developed in the toys and the goop started leaking out in the stretch armstrong toys. But in 1990 they introduced a new stretch Armstrong with a doggy friend fetch armstrong. A good hard core stretch armstrong will cost you 80 dollars now.
Ok now back to the movie thing Hasbro has already signed the multi-year strategic partnership with Universal.Hazbro says the bond between universal is to re-imagine, re-invent and re-ignite our incredible brands beyond traditional toys and games.
