The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn Synopsis
Tintin(Jamie Bell) meets Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) for the first time and also Tintin gets a clue about a treasure which his ancestor Sir Francis Haddock had hidden years go.Together with Captain Haddock Tintin set out to find the treasure. But soon realizes they are not alone. A jail escapee and The Detective Thompson and Thomson (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) is also behind the treasure. Tintin will be a motion captured 3D film which will give the spielbergfans a wonderful fiesta.Peter Jacksons Weta Digitals is helping with the animation and also intends to direct a sequel(The Adventures of Tintin: Red Rackham's Treasure.).The duo is also geared up to direct a movie together.Tin tin's dog Snowy will be an animated model. A French video game company UBISOFT will also produce a video game based on the movie The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn. The video game will be launched along with the much anticipated movie. The movie will be released in US on November 2011 and two months before in Europe. The Reason might be Tintin being a European hero..? well I guess so. The film is shot in Newzealand and Willington. Spielberg will finish the motion capture first in a month or so and then It will be handed over to Peter Jackson who in turn will create a 3D world on the motion capture. The 3D part is a long process and it will take at least 18 months to complete. Paramount and Sony will take the distribution worldwide. But one question remains is who is the actual director of Tintin. Spielberg or Jackson. Spielberg has his name in the credit as the director the movie will entirely depend upon Jacksons performance as he did in Lord of the rings and The Kingkong. Now the mo-cap technology is at its best to provide realistic visual images Jackson works in his Weta studio. Spielberg can view exactly what Jackson gets to see in the screen during the Production period. The producers are trying hard to keep this project as a low profile movie, but the fans are eager to know about the progress in each step what this genius duo can do with a Belgian teen and his doggy.
